Windows Aero Glass Curve by yanomami Windows Aero Glass Curve by yanomami
Do you also like both of the deviations
:deviation: "Vista Aero Glass" cursors by technotengu [link]
and the new
:deviation: "Bluecurve:from fedora to XP" [link] by cruxye?
:painter: Then you might be interested in this "hybrid" scheme. It combines those elements of both cursor packs that I like best.

Use the included *.inf to install respectively to read about copyright matters.

Hope you like it, comments and :+fav:s are appreciated! ;p :w00t!:

:new: UPDATE: Transparency of the "working" cursor is fixed now. :thanks: Thanks and credit for the updated version goes to doublecross256 [link]

:new: (no substantial) UPDATE: On special request now the pack comes with a RAR-SFX.exe - just to simplify the installation! ;P

This Aero style glass curve cursor pack is really nice. I especially like the aero_busy and aero_working .ani's

Hi, I love these cursors, but, would it possible to create some brown ones instead of blue, so they would fit in better with the HP espresso wallpaper
[link] ?
But if not, then these are wonderful anyway :)

Hi Stephen,
:forgiveme: I'm sorry to say that your "espresso edition" would require a disproportionate effort: At the moment my free time is too little compared to this high time exposure.
:thanks: Nevertheless, thanx for your comment, I'm pleased you appreciate my work!

Yes I'm using them now on Vista but there not exactly up to Vista quality right?
I wanted to change the blue animation color to like Vista-Greenish Color, I also
wanted to make the glass more defined.

My computer doesn't recognize them. Do I need a certain program to use these?

:iconyanomami:
yanomami Featured By Owner Aug 27, 2008
 They are designed for WinXP and 32bit display color mode (display).
So, you just need a program to extract the downloaded RAR archive. The go to the included .INF file, right-click on it and select "install". The cursors will be copied and the corresponding registry entries will be set, so that you can select the Windows Aero... from your cursor schemes.

:thanks: I'm glad you like them. Not a bad idea: Maybe I'll try to create a black transparent aero version. As this won't be that easy and as my freetime is very rare at the moment, you'll have to be patient. ;P

Oh, one more thing. It's the only thing keeping these cursors from being perfect O_O

When the cursor becomes "aero_working.ani", I noticed just a small problem that doesn't really need to be fixed, but if it is it'll look even greater. The blue curving thing passes below the glass cursor, but it simply disappears below it. If you could just edit a few pixels, then it'll be perfect ^_^

Just a suggestion~

Thanks for your "request". Sorry, but looking at the 12 frames this ani-cursor consists of I cannot see that there are any pixels missing. Besides I have not observed this little bug so far. The blue ring curving around the cursor consists of blue dots of decreasing size. So, there's a tiny gap between the smallest and the biggest dot. Since I don't know how to fix this quickly, I hope you can life with this ;P !
 Best regards

Argh! Can't...live life! Cursor...needs...pixels~! -faints- (for comedic effect, of course XD)

-cough- ...Dude, I meant something like this
[link]

Then again, I can live with my edit combined with your set, so all is well! Thanks again for making the hybrid in the first place. ^_^

:ohmygod: Oh my god, now I see want you ment: The glassy cursor was not "completely transparent", hence the blue dots were invisible when moving beneath it. :thanks: Thanks for fixing this! I will update my pack immediately.

Wow, you seriously updated it XD Thanks, and no problem! ^_^

btw, did you know? I got Microangelo Toolset 6 again for the sake of editing that specific cursor o_O; But thanks to you, I did get the editing program back, and I got ideas for new cursors to make ever since Project Ghost...so thanks a lot!

Supporting alway! =D
